Hello. I'm Peter Carrels, an accomplished writer and journalist, with much experience in communications, public education campaigns and marketing/advertising. I have managed public interest campaigns emphasizing environmental issues.

I live in South Dakota, and in addition to managing public interest campaigns emphasizing environmental issues, I have worked with clients to promote products, ideas and businesses. I created and managed the tour for a succesful national traveling exhibit, helped open up new markets for a progrssive agricultural enterprise, wrote and produced ads for regional clients, managed websites, and created newsletters. Peter Carrels is an award-winning journalist, and he has written well-reviewed books.

Managed campaign in South Dakota to stop construction of the proposed Hyperion oil refinery. Recruited political allies in the three states, managed media, assembled public education campaign, worked with Sierra Club volunteers.
